Cindy Sherman
Artist Statement:
This photo is copy of Jacqueline Kennedy who was the wife of
the 35th president of the United States. She was a popular women and
famous world-wide she was also known for her sense of fashion in the 1950s. I
chose this as my strongest photo because the lighting is strong and focused on
my face, I like how the photo is very proper and put together. Everything is
set up to look similar to the original photo of Jacqueline. Everything just
focuses on the subject and the colour of the dress really makes it stand out
and directs your view. The expression and the hair make it proper and
professional looking and that was what I was going for because that is what
Jacqueline was known for her fashion and being proper and professional because
most of the time she had to be because she was married to the president.
